Holy cows (as Evan would say)... it's been a while. So much to update.
I think all three of you who read my blog know about what's gone down in the past few months. The boys and I moved out into our own place. It's so much more peaceful (as much peace as two little boys can offer). It's a small place and gets dirty in no time and it's taking up any extra money I had, but it's mine. :) It's been a while since I've been 'single'... and I forgot how much I loved it. Anywho...
We're having a pretty good summer. The boys and I have actually been a lot more active since the move. We've been swimming at the YMCA quite a bit, as well as taking in festivals, concerts and parades. I shot a wedding a few days ago, so that will keep me busy for the next few weeks, and I'm also finally learning how to knit. Granted, the first hour of my frustrating attempts yielded a big knot, but I'm finally getting the hang of it. The boys are already requesting matching hats/scarves/mittens with their color preferences. Ooh, and I'm READING again... believe it or not! Having a smaller place with no dictator over me means I can leave the place a little messy and enjoy a book! So... the book of choice this week is The Hour I First Believed by Wally Lamb. SO GOOD.
Okay, that's all. I promise to try to write more frequently from now on. :)
